AIT organized a twodays International workshop on Advanced Materials challenges and standardization needs for Net Zero technologies (AMCSNZT-2023) for the students under the Student Development program in association with CSIR-NPL campus.
This workshop was held on 9th and 10th October.2023.In an era where the world is racing towards sustainability and the realization of net-zero emissions, the role of advanced materials cannot be overstated. Theme of the workshop highlighted some important points like:
1) Materials for energy generation (solar, nuclear, thermoelectric, wind and hydrogen)
2) Materials for energy storage (batteries, super-capacitors and carbon capture and utilization)
3) Materials for energy efficient technologies (power electronics, low loss electronics, building integrated technologies)
4) Materials for circular economy (recycling, sustainable manufacturing)
Keynote addresses by renowned experts in the field helped the students to gain an In-depth technical sessions and panel discussions on advanced materials challenges
